Description
In the remote mountains of Ha Giang province in northern Vietnam, mists shroud the steep slopes of Tay Con Linh Mountain in a veil of mystery. Here, nature reigns in supreme silence. The inhabitants live in harmony with the seasons and traditions, in step with the life-giving rains that nourish the centuries-old tea trees. Rain is a constant presence - sometimes a light mist, sometimes a passing shower - nurturing an untamed yet bountiful landscape. When harvest time comes, the delicate crackle of leaves being detached from their stems mingles with the murmur of raindrops on the foliage. From this melody of water emerges a deep and vibrant black tea of singular intensity - a Rain Tea®. A gift from the heavens, shaped by the patience of humankind, is a true reflection of the mountain and its living breath.
Dried leaves: Fine and chiseled, the velvety-soft buds are adorned with precious nuances, ranging from white gold to platinum.
Infused leaves: A fresh scent of tender bamboo rises as a prelude to the deep aromas of roasted cocoa bean. Then, floral notes with a sensual accent of citrus complete this olfactory journey.
Liqueur: The secret of the rains flows through the earth, nourishing the tea plants; the leaf, in turn, permeates the water. The liqueur, a living echo of the memory of the rains, reveals an amber hue with celadon highlights. A bouquet both powerful and refined recalls longan honey mingled with the freshness of candied tamarind. Silky and balanced, the liqueur glides across the palate, blending the delicacy of rosewood with the lusciousness of roasted dark fruits.
