Pouch of 40g
Description
The originality of this matcha lies in an exceptionally rare and masterfully crafted blend of two tea cultivars, Komakage and Yabukita, a combination that is almost impossible to find today, even in Japan.
Traditionally reserved for the noble Gyokuro, the Komakage cultivar brings a profound umami character and remarkably pure, distinctive flavours, all carried on a foundation of great softness and elegance. Yabukita, by contrast, contributes balance and structure, harmoniously combining gentle sweetness, subtle bitterness and fresh vegetal notes.
In the cup, Komakage Matcha reveals a refreshing, delicately sweet liquor of remarkable refinement, where the graceful softness of Komakage meets the precision and clarity of Yabukita.
A rare and perfectly balanced composition, offering a refined and contemporary interpretation of the celebrated tea-making style of Uji.
Preparation:
- Place about 1.5 g of Matcha tea in a bowl, then pour in 4 cl of hot water (80°C).
- Swiftly whip the tea for 30 seconds with a bamboo whisk, or chasen, then enjoy.
