« Tea from Beyond the Skies »
The parcels of tea in the Namring garden, created in 1855 by the British, belong to Jhinglam and Poomong at 1,220 and 1,370 meters in altitude. The remarkable character of the Namring Terroir as well as the combination of the planter's admirable work coupled with Mariage Frères' unique savoir-faire give birth to this splendid tea with myriad aromatic nuances.
Dried leaves: Voluptuous buds and young leaves delicately harvested at dawn careen in an expanse of moonlight, jade and silver from which exhales a perfume of bamboo resin and blond caramel.
Infused leaves: An elegant green moiré, the leaves deliver a woody fragrance of raisin and cashew.
Liquor: Golden amber, the liquor blends impressions of blood peach with Morello cherry. A hint of vetiver is joined by a dash of delectable hazelnut praline. Magnolia honey dances with delicately fruity aromas before a delightful finale inspired by raspberry.
Luscious and heavenly!
