The parcels of tea in the Namring garden, created in 1855 by the British, belong to Jhinglam and Poomong at 1,220 and 1,370 meters in altitude. The remarkable character of the Namring Terroir as well as the combination of the planter's admirable work coupled with Mariage Frères' unique savoir-faire give birth to this splendid tea with myriad aromatic nuances.
Tea in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
Description
Dried leaves: Sumptuous, slightly twisted whole leaves whose macassar ebony colour contrasts pleasantly with the shimmering, golden tones of the young buds.
Infused leaves: The leaves give off a seductive scent of candied blackberry on a bed of chestnut cream.
Liquor: Persistent floral notes of forest honey escape from the liqueur with flashes of red amber and sparkling ruby reflections. The ever-present and silky tannins flood the palate with a delicious fragrance of black grape and walnut cake.
