Founded in 1892, this historic garden on the plains of Assam, located on the border with Bangladesh, takes its name from the local fruit 'bhubri' which grows in abundance in the nearby forests and which boats come to load on the 'ghat' of the river. The plantation blends in with dense and lush vegetation, where tea is grown in perfect harmony with nature.
Presented in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
Description
Dried leaves : The whole, slightly twisted leaves are rolled very precisely. In a play of light, their dark obsidian hue is illuminated with a few silvery reflections. The woody bouquet also recalls the scent of gingerbread.
Infused leaves : A gourmet note of roasted cocoa bean gives way to the liveliness of a citrus leaf, slightly crumpled. Notes of prune and candied fig come through once the heat has dissipated.
Liqueur : Amber with hints of blood orange red, the taste evokes cocoa butter infused with spices. Malted and woody tannins bloom in a delightful note of hazelnut praline.
