Toasted green tea - Jardin Premier*
Our Hojicha is issued from a small, family-run organic tea garden in the historic village of Nara.
The leaves and young twigs of Sencha green tea are roasted artisanally in the family's workshop. Originally a way to conserve the tea, today this heating method is appreciated for the relaxing and flavourful liquor it produces, accompanying perfectly a meal or a dessert.
The elm-coloured leaves deliver an aroma of chocolatey carob and nutmeg.
Ashen ebony recalling an aroma of praline syrup.
Amber with garnet highlights. The palate is caressed with a woody note, then flooded with a fragrance blending vanilla and caramelised palm sugar.
