Description
Ambootia (which means « Land of the mango trees ») is one of the most famous gardens of Darjeeling in the foothills of the Himalayas. For over twenty years, this majestic plantation has been cultivated in complete harmony with this exceptional Terroir according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, methods which have contributed to the fame of this prestigious appellation.
Dried leaves: Gracefully shaped into supple twists, the leaves—tinged with deep rosewood hues—are adorned with subtle pearly highlights, heralding a harvest brought to full maturity.
Infused leaves: From the warm leaves rises a generous aroma of muscovado syrup, subtly lifted by a whisper of spice. Roasted pineapple, dusted with cocoa, enriches this gourmand profile with a delicately spiced warmth.
Liquor: The cup glows with a vivid orange shimmer, bright as a nasturtium petal. On the nose, the richness of royal date and the roundness of blond caramel unfold. Ample and enveloping, the liquor releases a sensation of silky honey, deep and lingering.
