Sivitar, or the « Abode of Shiva », is a magnificent garden in Darjeeling where one can admire the splendor of the Himalayan peaks. The plantation, organised according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, is rich with lush vegetation and centenary tea plants that flourish among the wild orange trees lining the fertile valley of Kurseong.
The Champagne of Tea reveals its secrets.
Presented in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
Description
Dried leaves : The silver buds and their young tender green leaves hemmed with ebony deliver a note of green papaya with a flowery resonance.
Infused leaves : Luminous jade. Notes of poppy beaded with morning dew answer the beckoning call of frangipani flowers.
Liqueur : Twilight gold. The sweetness of rambutan blends handsomely with the delicacy of roasted apple as the tasting evolves toward velvety notes of green almond and orchid. The enchanting finale evokes the aroma of mountain flower honey with a dash of vanilla.
A monument to excellence.
