A prestigious reissue of a tea service created in 1750 by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory of Saint Petersburg for Tsarina Elisabeth, daughter of Peter the Great. This porcelain teapot is decorated by hand with admirable savoir-faire.
The blue and gold “fishing net” pattern has become emblematic of the most beautiful tableware from the time of the Tsars.
Description
Before using your porcelain teapot for the first time, we recommend following these instructions:
1. Wash with a soft sponge and soapy water.
2. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
To brew your tea:
• Pour boiling water into your teapot and discard the water.
• Place the required amount of tea in the filter provided.
• Pour hot water over the tea to cover it and replace the lid to keep it warm.
• Once the brewing time is up, remove the filter and serve.
Porcelain preserves the aromas without altering them.
To care for your teapot:
• Regular care: clean with a soft sponge and soapy water, rinse and dry.
• Occasional maintenance to remove tannin deposits inside: leave a mixture of very hot water and white vinegar, lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda or citric acid to work. Empty the teapot, rinse with clean water and dry. Repeat as many times as necessary.
Avoid extreme thermal shocks.
