Description

Located in the district of Waikato (Maori for“flowing water”) — named after the largest river in the country and known for its ecological diversity with its green hills, caves, forests and lakes — a small tea estate on North Island has devoted itself to producing 100% Jardin Premier tea. This faraway grand cru is unique and magnificent.

Dried leaves: The sumptuous whole leaves are like precious gems. Meticulously hand-crafted and rolled one by one, the light hugs their lustrous surface, coloured with opulent reflections of antique gold.

Infused leaves: The first wisps of candied tamarind are followed by the sweet, fruity notes of manuka honey, incredibly decadent. The last fragrance evokes the delicacy of almond nougat.

Liquor: The heady scent of magnolia flowers overruns the cup, harmoniously accented with notes of wild orchid and royal jelly. Lush in texture and sparkling gold in colour, its delicate milky aroma persists tirelessly on the palate, silky and delectable.
