DRAPÉ

This cast-iron teapot has a straight spout and a square base that curves at the top, all 100% fuchsia pink as though “wrapped” in a piece of fabric whose four corners have been knotted. It is crowned by a handsome cover adorned with a satin cord, surmounted by a metal handle. A blend of sculpture and poetry, simultaneously refined and playful, the “Drapé” teapot pivots on the unlikely – and inevitably delightful – encounter of three adventurous materials.
