BRUME DE JASMIN®
To create this tea, we select jasmine flowers with barely-opened buds, clustered together in garlands then stored at night in a cool place until morning when, at dawn, they are blended with a grand Paï Mu Tan Imperial from Fujian. Slowly, the tea leaves absorb the penetrating fragrance; then, one by one, the petals are removed so as to offer a delicate touch to this masterpiece.
Presented in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
Description
The jade-coloured leaves, long, beautiful and speckled in brown accompany a large proportion of silver tips covered in downy white.
The nose, heady with the fragrance of jasmine, is carried along by woody notes.
The liqueur is clear and tinted orpiment. The tasting opens on an elegant and lively bouquet of fresh jasmine while an incomparable harmony of fruity and woody tones unfolds along its silky body. This composition, which marries the ardour of a sparkling flower to the softness of white tea, is clear and subtle
Our jasmine tea is scented according to a time-honoured tradition.
Plucked at dawn, thousands of delicate jasmine flowers are layered into the tea leaves and buds.
The dry tea thus absorbs all of the heady, natural fragrance from the fresh flowers.
This melding is repeated several times so the essence suffuses the heart of the tea.
Between perfuming, the tea is dried again so that new, freshly plucked flowers may impart more aroma.
After giving up all their delicious jasmine scent to the tea, the dried flowers are then carefully collected by hand, one by one.
The all-natural jasmine tea is finally ready to be enjoyed.
