Matured tea - Jardin Premier*
Viêt Nam
In the north of Vietnam, the province of Yen Bai is famous for its breathtaking landscapes featuring green mountains sculpted by rice fields whose terraces hug the winding hills. It is also the cradle of many indigenous communities for whom traditions are deeply rooted in daily life. Since time immemorial, the native peoples have been picking the leaves of centuries-old wild tea trees rooted in the fertile soil of the misty mountains. An authentic matured tea, a return to the land and to nature.
Dried leaves: Long and splendid whole leaves whose slow maturation imparts a brown shade of colour like snakewood.
Infused leaves: Notes of oak and moss transport you to a forest after the rain, mingling with the aroma of banana leaf.
Liquor: The infusion reveals a shade of mahogany with sublime garnet reflections. Its concentrated scent evokes an aroma of forest floor misted with dew, spiced with a hint of delicately crumpled pepper leaf. The lively liqueur caresses the palate and evolves towards a gourmet, fruity note of sapodilla and chestnut cream.
