« Tea from Beyond the Skies »
The parcels of tea in the Namring garden, created in 1855 by the British, belong to Jhinglam and Poomong at 1,220 and 1,370 meters in altitude. The remarkable character of the Namring Terroir as well as the combination of the planter's admirable work coupled with Mariage Frères' unique savoir-faire give birth to this splendid tea with myriad aromatic nuances.
In a "haute-couture" spirit, the leaves have been elegantly sublimated with the unique savoir-faire of the planter. A plethora of buds dressed in velvety silver give the whole a mysterious glow of the moon. The intoxicating scent of autumn lychee and nashi blends with a sensual fragrance of white rose petal.
A palette of fruity notes like quince jelly, poached pear and juicy white peach smoothly emerges beyond the infused leaves.
Waves of floral aroma brighten up with a touch of toasted sesame. The perfectly balanced satiny texture gently suffused with sweetness recalls lush autumn fruits, a true signature of this cru which is sure to delight.
