NAKUPENDA® - FOP
FIRST FLUSH - THÉ NOIR DU MALAWI
A sensuous journey to Southern Africa.
For generations, a family plantation known for the quality of its teas sits nestled at 1,150m in altitude, in a territory with infinite natural resources, sustained by a climate marked by the rainy season from November to March. Local tea plants well-adapted to this unique Terroir produce artisanal harvests rich in flavour; the young leaves, delicately harvested by hand, are quickly crafted in the estate’s atelier into this particular tea.
The long twisted leaves nuanced in jade and ebony unleash an aroma evoking longan and cool eucalyptus.
Imperial amber green. A fragrance recalling lotus flower is crowned by a hint of candied citron.
Amber gold. The liquor resonates with notes of roasted pear and cocoa imbued with a dash of tonka bean.
Southern Africa splendour.
