NAKUPENDA® - FOP
FIRST FLUSH - THÉ NOIR DU MALAWI
Jardin Premier*
A sensuous journey to Southern Africa.
For generations, a family plantation known for the quality of its teas sits nestled at 1,150m in altitude, in a territory with infinite natural resources, sustained by a climate marked by the rainy season from November to March. Local tea plants well-adapted to this unique Terroir produce artisanal harvests rich in flavour; the young leaves, delicately harvested by hand, are quickly crafted in the estate’s atelier into this particular tea.
Dried leaves: The long twisted leaves nuanced in jade and ebony unleash an aroma evoking longan and cool eucalyptus.
Infused leaves: Imperial amber green. A fragrance recalling lotus flower is crowned by a hint of candied citron.
Liquor: Amber gold. The liquor resonates with notes of roasted pear and cocoa imbued with a dash of tonka bean.
Southern Africa splendour.
