GOURIA OP1
Thé Noir - Jardin Premier*
Georgia
Since 1830, Georgia has set itself apart for its beautiful tea harvests, even earning a prize during the World’s Fair of 1864 in Russia. Almost forgotten by history, tea enthusiasts decided to revive the production in these gardens in their quest for new, distinctive tastes. Mariage Frères expands its Tea Menu with a harvest of unexpected qualities.
Dried leaves: Elegantly twisted and draped in ebony, the leaves exhale a scent of tonka bean and forest fragrance.
Infused leaves: Aromas evoking black cherry and white gentian flower.
Liquor: Shimmering moiré. Patisserie-like hints of Poire Belle Helene and rosewood swirl together in a cup full of emotions.
A treasure from the Caucasus.
