The parcels of tea in the Namring garden, created in 1855 by the British, belong to Jhinglam and Poomong at 1,220 and 1,370 meters in altitude. The remarkable character of the Namring Terroir as well as the combination of the planter's admirable work coupled with Mariage Frères' unique savoir-faire give birth to this splendid tea with myriad aromatic nuances.
Tea in a Mariage Frères black pouch.
Description
Dried leaves: Beautifully hand-worked, the fine leaves with a rosewood hue are brightened by a few golden highlights.
Infused leaves: Lovely, fruity notes of black fig and candied pineapple mingle with a charming bouquet of rose.
Liquor: Bright, the liqueur is adorned with warm nuances of amber and orange peel, exuding a sweet aroma of marzipan and roasted apple. Its round and velvety texture, of great finesse, evolves into gourmet accents of calisson.
