MILKY SIAM BLUE
Thé bleu – Thaïlande
Jardin Premier*
In the heart of the Golden Triangle, in the north of Thailand, the green and fertile mountains offer an exceptional breeding ground for a variety of tea trees treasured for their naturally milky fragrance. A perfect symbiosis between the tea plants and this unique terroir which nourishes the leaves and accentuates this fascinating aromatic singularity, a true mystery of nature.
Dried leaves: The ample, whole leaves in shades of amethyst and jade are shaped into magnificent luminous gems while the score of blue flowers accompanying them give the liquor a mysterious and changing indigo-blue hue.
Infused leaves: Unfolding majestically in the cup, they open the way to a fragrance of honey, white flowers and creamy blond caramel.
Liquor: Its velvety body, streaked with a moiré of several blues, shimmers and reflects in the warm rising steam as the divinely umami liqueur reveals tender flavours of vanilla marshmallow and almond milk foam.
Please consider: The blue liqueur teas (Marco Polo Blue, Opera Blue, Thé Bleu des Légendes, etc.) owe its signature blue colour to the presence of finely chiselled blue flowers.
Sometimes these blue flowers fall to the bottom of the tin.
As this is a 100% natural product, the beautiful shades of blue may differ depending on the type of infusion or harvest, varying from pale to deep blue.
Before any infusion, we suggest tightly closing the canister then shaking it a few moments so as to distribute the chiselled blue flowers more evenly throughout the tea.
