FTGFOP1 DJ14/20 - Jardin Premier
Darjeeling spring flush 2020
This garden, one of the oldest in Darjeeling, was created the same year as Mariage Frères in 1854. The tea plants, lovingly pampered for over 160 years, still produce one of the best crus of Darjeeling. With its 176 hectares at 2,100m in altitude, where the slopes of the Himalayas wind their way between India, Nepal and Bhutan, this is the closest garden to Darjeeling Town.
Thin and slightly twisted, alternating between tones of anthracite, rosewood and jade, they release a seductive scent of raisin and crispy pecan cookie.
Fleeting aromas of candied fruit, mango and banana.
The cup is crystal clear with illuminating golden tones and amber reflections. A slightly peppery scent sets the stage for shimmering notes of spring honey nougat. A silky texture perfectly balances the liquor whose liveliness slowly melts into a fruity impression of mangosteen and papaya.
