Mariage Frères expands its collection of jasmine tea, deliciously avant-garde and already one of the best in the world. Prosperous China of the Song dynasty is the cradle of jasmine tea.

Dried leaves:	A luminous green tea with nuances of hibiscus flower, jasmine fragrance and a wisp of vanilla.

Infused leaves:	 Gold riddled with jade. A note of toasted gingerbread mingles with moist peony petals.

Liquor	Golden orange. A final taste is embraced by an elegant jasmine flowers from China.

Jasmine tea by Mariage Frères
Our jasmine tea is scented according to a time-honoured tradition.
Plucked at dawn, thousands of delicate jasmine flowers are layered into the tea leaves and buds.
The dry tea thus absorbs all of the heady, natural fragrance from the fresh flowers.
This melding is repeated several times so the essence suffuses the heart of the tea.
Between perfuming, the tea is dried again so that new, freshly plucked flowers may impart more aroma.
After giving up all their delicious jasmine scent to the tea, the dried flowers are then carefully collected by hand, one by one.
The all-natural jasmine tea is finally ready to be enjoyed.

As delicate as cotton flower, the liquor with its bluish robe caresses the palate and vibrates with round notes of patisserie evoking white vanilla and delightful praline rose.

Please consider: The blue liqueur teas (Marco Polo Blue, Opera Blue, Thé Bleu des Légendes, etc.) owe its signature blue colour to the presence of finely chiselled blue flowers.
Sometimes these blue flowers fall to the bottom of the tin.
As this is a 100% natural product, the beautiful shades of blue may differ depending on the type of infusion or harvest, varying from pale to deep blue.
Before any infusion, we suggest tightly closing the canister then shaking it a few moments so as to distribute the chiselled blue flowers more evenly throughout the tea.
