TEA FLOWER
Rest for tea muslin sachet
silver plated
First the fine muslin tea sachet is displayed, then brought to the nose, and finally plunged into simmering water: light and transparent, a muslin sachet provides the perfect setting for handsome whole-leaf teas, which have the room to open and steep gently. Once withdrawn from the cup, the noble sachet is then placed in its own elegant silver-plated dish. We call it our “Tea Flower.”
It was inspired by the sight of tea plants in a misty, cloud-studded garden perched on the Himalayan slopes somewhere between India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
MARIAGE FRÈRES has designed this dish in the form of a five-petal flower blossom of silver-plated metal, set on a base struck with the firm’s prestigious logo. The luxurious yet discreet “Tea Flower” merits its own special place on the table.
