SZECHWAN SUPREME™
SFTGFOP1 - Black tea
China
Provenance : Szechuan – a province in central-west China – abounds with a thousand and one private gardens irrigated by pure flowing rivers, tributaries of the famous Yangtze Kiang. Mariage Frères has proudly brought back from this remote, mountainous region a pure jewel issued from a plantation bathed in thick fog and nestled among the highest summits of China.
Dried leaves : The sleek, pearly-black leaves and the young golden buds resound of delicate notes recalling a still warm madeleine held together by hints of age-old chestnut wood.
Infused leaves : The shimmering mahogany-coloured leaves release a sensual bouquet of lavender flowers, enlivened by a wispy aroma of sandalwood and candied tamarind.
Liquor : A robe akin to an ageless cognac. The supple, gourmet aromas evoke pineapple candied with vanilla sugar and a wave of graceful frangipani trees in bloom.
A black tea offering rich umami saveur.
