GFBOP - Black tea
Assam Summer Flush
This plantation is irrigated by one of the arms of the Brahmaputra which renders this region, at the limits of Arunachal Pradesh and the Himalayas, lush and fertile.
Dried leaves : Immediately one is surprised by its rather flattering visual aspects. A large proportion of « golden tips » are scattered amongst the young, dark ebony-coloured leaves. The nose is frank, consisting of grated nutmeg on dark ganache.
Infused leaves : An elegant shade of wengé-brown dazzles as the leaves exhale tonalities of candied black cherry and stewed blackberry jam. A vaporous note of clove wood gravitates toward a pinch of gourmet vanilla.
Liquor : Wild agarwood with veins of reddish amber. An unbelievable suppleness cools the palate like a splash of rose water upon waking and deliciously evokes a note of roasted quince and brown sugar caramel.
