SFTGFOP1 Darjeeling Autumn Flush
Perched 1,000m in altitude, the garden of Glenburn naturally finds its place in our collection of unique Darjeeling black tea Grand Crus. This exceptional harvest, the fruit of meticulous labour, is issued from a reserved parcel of land cultivated with a grand savoir-faire. Since 1859, the mists clinging to the Himalayan foothills bathe the centenary tea plants that elegantly dot the staggered landscape of this family plantation. Only a few kilos of rare, fine buds and tender leaves are plucked.
The sublime, slender leaves emit sophisticated fragrances of orchid, chocolate and elegant, resinous cedar.
Beyond the shades of mahogany and imperial green, a note of Indian plum mingles with malty, biscuity aromas.
Bright, shimmering amber. Fragrant in the cup, the creamy notes of macadamia nut are simply delectable. The voluptuous infusion resonates with floral notes of rose enlivened by a zesty, elegant aroma of candied bitter orange. An exotic array of imperial spices recalling honey and vanilla create a lingering, full-bodied finale.
An exclusive must-have.
