GIELLE
Darjeeling récolte d'été
Jardin Premier*
The plantation of Gielle was created in 1850, four years before Mariage Frères, with magnificent tea plants stemming from original varieties. Situated in the heart of the Darjeeling appellation, it is named after an eponymous stream that renders the area fertile and conducive to beautiful harvests.
Dried leaves: The handsome buds display a powdery mahogany colour.
Infused leaves: Frosted brown. A rich and appetising note of roasted pistachio accentuated by a wisp of elegant violet.
Liquor: The liquor's amber robe reveals generous notes of pear, apple and roasted chestnut. Supple and persistent, the infusion is lively with a constantly evolving texture.
