FTGFOP1 DJ-1/2019 - Jardin Premier*
The garden of Chamling was established in 1870 on the Kurseong South hills in the heart of the Darjeeling terroir. Back then this garden was known as Sepoydhoorah, meaning “the Sepoys’ lines”, an allusion to the pioneering soldiers of the Mughal Empire.
: The superb imperial green leaves, punctuated with silver tips, deliver notes evoking fresh liquorice root and warm brioche.
: Brilliant celadon with beautiful hints of toasted cashew nuts and muscatel grape.
: Amber gold, a caress of green mango enhanced with a mellow note of walnut blends with fragrances of banana tree flower and mangosteen.
A hymn to spring.
