Black tea, autumnal flush
Since 1885 the « City of the White Orchid », nestled in the vicinity of Kurseong and enjoying an exceptional terroir, Castleton is one of the most famous gardens of Darjeeling. Year after year the planter passionately fine tunes his methods in order to continuously improve the already elite quality of his harvests. The centenary tea bushes planted at the beginning of the golden age of tea are the subject of special attention in order to bring out the aromatic quintessence which makes for the remarkable identity of this excellent garden.
Dried leaves: Beautifully crafted, the fine leaves with a shade of rosewood are enlivened with pearly white reflections.
Infused leaves: The first peppery notes float gently towards nostalgic flavours of mango and guava pate de fruit.
Liquor: Luminous, the liquor is trimmed with warm nuances of amber and orange peel; it exudes a sweet scent of panettone with raisins, dried fruits and forest honey. Its velvety texture of great finesse permeates vanilla accents enhanced with citrus zest.
