This blue tea, growing in altitudes in excess of 2000 meters, is cultivated on the steep slopes of mount Li Shan. The low winter temperatures explain the trees’ slow growth, its small production and its rare and unique taste.
Leaves: greenish yellow, wide and rolled into pearls
Nose: fruity, evoking green guava
Liquor: golden, limpid, brilliant – both gentle and lively; its ample, engulfing texture provides a backdrop for an eloquent floral bouquet (white flowers, acacia), enlivened by its low oxidation and accentuated by a buttery character as well as a tone of vanilla. Its long finish, sweet with little astringency, caresses the palate. An extraordinary garden! |
